Garden Suites

Spinnakers acquired the Garden Suites in 1998, renovating and subdividing it into four garden suites. The suites are tucked away quietly behind Spinnakers Pub and Restaurant, with open harbour views. There are four luxury adult-oriented rooms, furnished with contemporary decor with an Asian flair. Each room has queen size beds with beautiful bedding and down duvets. The rooms have ensuite jacuzzi tubs with candles for evening soaks. Two rooms contain wood burning fireplaces and all suites have scenic outdoor patios. Kitchen facilities are available to some suites in this guesthouse upon request.

West

Suite #7

Located on the west side of the property, this suite has a south-west facing living room with a queen sized sofa bed and a side door leading to a deck and private herb garden with mature fruit trees. A separate bedroom features an overstuffed queen bed, a glazed door leading to the deck and garden and a walk through closet leading to a 3 piece ensuite bathroom with a jetted single person soaker tub and shower.

Suite #8

Located on the upper floor, this room is accessed from a large shared deck and has views to the south-west overlooking the entrance to Victoria’s harbour. The living room is bathed with afternoon sun and features "grandma’s" living room furnishing, restored to an elegance that she could have only dreamed of. The west facing bedroom has windows facing the harbour to the south as well as facing west overlooking the garden below. Walk through the closet into a 3 piece bathroom with a jetted single person soaker tub and shower.

East

Suite #6

Located in the morning-sun side of the garden, this suite is one that we often use for entertaining small groups or business meetings. The suite boasts a large living room with wood burning fireplace, a queen sized sofa bed and comfortable chairs for lazing about. A separate bedroom, accessed through a set of double sliding pocket doors, contains a queen sized bed overlooking the gardens. A 3 piece ensuite bathroom contains a double soaker jetted tub and rain shower. A contemporary full kitchen makes this suite a favourite for our long stay guests.

Suite #9

Located on the upper floor, with east facing bed and living rooms, this suite has vaulted ceiling that reach to 14 feet at the peak. Spacious and luxurious, this suite is so comfortable that over the years 3 of our long stay guests have fallen in love with Victoria such that they have purchased houses here and are now residents. This suite has if all, a wood burning fireplace, queen sofa bed, queen bed room, full kitchen with all the trimmings and one of our 3 piece ensuites with a double soaker jetted tub and rain shower. This suite also has a south facing deck that captures the sun all day long and has filtered water views.
